Yes. IMO it is not the task of the release manager to wait for success reports for a number of platforms. It is the task of those who care about a particular platform to make sure that it works. The default assumption should be that it works (we do no major changes after all), and this should be verified by people who use the stable branch for daily work. For example I guess I would have noticed the C-x problem that we fixed today several weeks ago if I would use LyX on windows. Georg
