Very good news. Abdel, it would be nice to refrain from using
stuff not available in 4.0, unless of course there is a real

A frontend is not just a playground for new toys. If you want qt4 to
become the standard frontend, you have to do something about it.
Re-read my mail. I meant that, if qt4 will be the one official version
of LyX-1.5.0, then we should probably recommend the user to use 4.1.3
because it fixes some important bugs and painting speed. But, I am
pretty confident that it will still compile with 4.0.x. And if any
distribution carries it at the time of the delivery then I will make
sure that it still compiles with it.
That being said, as KDE4 will ship with 4.2 minimum, I am pretty sure
that will not be the case.
If it is not going the one official version of LyX-1.5.0, then _I_ don't
see any reason to refrain ourself. I'd rather let qt4 developers express
their creativity freely.
Chasing the latest fun features of Qt is not the right way to see
things in my opinion.
If it is still my pet project then I'd rather let it stay a fun project.
Sure. My quest to find someone making sure this task is
straight-forward is still ongoing.

You do not read lyx-users a lot, do you?
Not a lot indeed. But that doesn't answer my question!
Abdel.
