It's in a patch apparently I never posted (or they never applied; 
Barracuda was unmantained for more than a year.) I lost it in a local disk
crash.

Too few people have used the server, so any fresh discussion about it is
useful. Be free to improve it, while that doesn't imply a radical change
of protocol for LyX 1.0.x.
