It turns out that Thrusday and friday were non-working days here. So
they were no-e-mail days too. Concerning the cv class, you can find
the latest version at
http://www-rocq.inria.fr/~lasgoutt/lyx/cv-1.3.tar.gz
This should probably get included into lyx in 1.3, but I have been a
bit lazy about it. There should be some documentation (any taker?) and
I am not sure that the layout of subsections comes out correctly.
Other than that, it is pretty minimalist. That's how I like classes.
