Thanks for your comments, since I know nothing about Asian languages or how
LyX deals with them.

Note that www.lyx.org/getit.html has a link to the chinput patch. I guess
you're saying both that and the new translation.html (wasn't someone going
to post that?) should have Yu-Chung Wang's patch linked instead. OK. Where's
that?
