Looking at it again, I can't see any time when you did it. In any case, using
tables will stop that from happening.

Oh. One more suggestion. If you *are* cutting down the number of pictures, you
could add in just a couple more features. For example, you could have a
picture next to one of your figure pictures in which you had closed the float
inset ("minimized the figure").

OK. Between your objection & JMarc's, I guess I agree. I would still make it
available for download, in case a sysadmin wants to put it on their local web
pages (intranet) for convenience.

However, I *still* think that particularly clueless people (e.g., my mom)
might enjoy doing the graphical tutorial before the much heavier Tutorial.
Perhaps a pointer in Introduction.lyx (and/or in Tutorial.lyx and/or the
README)? Basically, I'm arguing that if LyX has already been downlaoded onto
their system, or if they didn't read the graphical tutorial before downloading
lyx, then your enumerate above doesn't work & people might still enjoy the
lgt.

Oh yeah. The other "larger issue" I wanted to mention is that because the lgt
is more of a tutorial, I think that the Screenshots page is not obsoleted by
it. The screenshots page will still be useful if we want to "wow" people who
want to see lots of features. And since Mike did such a wonderful job on the
lgt, I nominate him to update the screenshots page! (Thanks, Amir.)
