To save U-A, use a shell setup file like .bashrc to get a permanent alias

alias lynx="/usr/local/bin/lynx -nopause -tna -useragent='Mozilla/5.0
(iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 6_0 like Mac OS X)  AppleWebKit/536.26 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Version/6.0 Mobile/10A5376e  Safari/8536.25' "

works for me, google responds with its search box

and with an alias the [O]ptions page seems to populate the User-Agent
header field (temporary solution for a single shell session)
