Craig, I think we might have to agree to disagree on this. It depends on what you mean by "the same mailing list". If it's just the list of email addresses provided to LUV by members, then it's the same list, even if running on different infrastructure (still managed by LUV members). If it's that list *and* the software and hardware infrastructure (that is, Mailman some version on LUV servers), then it's a different list. I don't think we can reach any other resolution.
