No you did not.

You tried to point at something that does not match _your personal preference_.

The installed distro is 100% functional and behaving as intended. That
is not in any way a bug, privacy-related or otherwise.

It does not work the way you want.

It _does_ work the way that _I_ want and, I submit, the way that most
other people want.

I also submit that even those people who prefer to use other search
engines, such as DuckDuckGo -- you misspelled it -- would mostly not
care about the browser opening Google _once_.

Or, if they did, they would disconnect their machine from the
Internet, open the browser, change the homepage, save and quit, and
then reconnect it. Very simple, easy, quick, requires no particularly
difficult specialist technical knowledge.

Wrong again. This is _entirely_ personal. You want _your_ preferences
to override everyone else's.

Then go use TAILS or QubesOS or some other privacy-focused distro and
stop playing around with an easy, beginner-friendlty distro like
Lubuntu.

Yes. And that is my choice and my right.

Note my RFC3676-compliant signature, which contains my real name, my
phone numbers, and all my online contacts. Unlike you, who does not
even have the courtesy to tell us your name while demanding that a
free product is customised for your individual preferences.

There is nothing wrong with your preferences, and you are perfectly
entitled to hold them. What you are _not_ perfectly entitled to is to
impose them on everyone else.

This is a very important life lesson to learn. I suggest you go
offline and have a long think about it.
