I honestly do not know. There are earlier versions, later versions, and in the end, having a massive amount of packages compiled by hand and thrown into a PPA when we already have packages in the repositories, especially when the PPA breaks every so often just isn't worth it to use. I think the reason why the packages are in there(I could be wrong) was because we were waiting for LXQt packages to make it into the repositories but now that is not the case. My PPA is for a *single* package that takes packages that get migrated from Debian where they have a whole team hacking on it and that gets it from upstream. So while I appreciate the effort that Julien makes, it's not reliable at this point in time. This is just until Julien gets the LXQt metapackage into Ubuntu, this is meant to be a temporary replacement for that. He might use it for a staging repository for fixes, but in that case it is *not* wise at all to recommend it in *any* *way* to people wanting to try out LXQt. LXQt has it's own problems, and I feel that pushing possibly-non-production-ready packages to a PPA that we are recommending is foolish. On 04/24/16 15:22, Phill.
