Thanks for the link and the feedback there, we will definitely work
towards them in the coming future :)

We do work in different timezones and at any point of time we try to
be there on the IRC (atleast one of us) and try to answer queries,
(Its inevitable that we also get busy during sometimes and we would
not be able to answer at some point) but on the flip side, there are
people who reach out to us via mails and we do help them out if not on
the IRC.

So as an effect, we have relaxed the process and now going on a case
by case basis per se, of evaluating based on activity done and results
are to be seen.

ATM, I am thinking like a catch up with LC every fortnight with
various locos on G+ or something similar but the number of teams we
cater too is big enough so any ideas are welcome :)

We meet over G+ or informally these days mostly due to the timezones
we are in, but will make a honest effort to update the minutes there
too.

Yes, Ubuntu already has it I guess, and Ubuntu Membership is on
parallels to a fedora ambassador or Mozilla reps I believe. Please
correct me if I'm wrong.

As said above, the new verification process have to be time tested I
guess and will aid the process on part of loco teams for getting
themselves verified.

So to re-iterate what Pablo said, we welcome criticisms, lets work
together to make ubuntu better :)
