Canonical are very protective of the Ubuntu trademark, and where
possible we try to ensure that ubuntu.* relates to the Ubuntu project -
this is to satisfy the expectations of (what I expect) most Internet
users.

The first step is to try and resolve this with discussion, which I know
you have been trying to do. Try and make the guy understand the extent
of the Ubuntu project, but also try to encourage him to obtain another
domain. This is about diplomacy and careful, baby steps.

Also, you should certainly contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] about this -
then we can approach the issue too.
