That's true for my MDK 9.1 also.

ext2
nodev proc

vfat

That being the case, I don't see why Behdad's solution of changing from auto 
to vfat worked (but as you already know, it did work). BTW, as I already 
wrote to Tzafrir (off the list), with both auto and vfat, mount shows:
/dev/sda1 on /mnt/removable type vfat 
(rw,nosuid,nodev,iocharset=utf8,umask=0,user=solomon).

So it seems that although the change from auto to vfat is the answer, there's 
some other problem that I don't see here.
