That's true for my MDK 9.1 also. BTW, as I already wrote to Tzafrir (off the list), with both auto and vfat, mount shows: /dev/sda1 on /mnt/removable type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,iocharset=utf8,umask=0,user=solomon).
