fiddle with Amazon, B&N and eBay, and none of them (except for very
small and surprises on Amazon) are incompatible with Mozilla/Galeon/Konq
as are the new Leumi, Visa Leumi and quite a few portals in Israel
(comment posts on ynet, certain navigations in Tapuz, most of the
government office sites, etc).
And yet, those with the largest potential market in the first place are the ones who do not ignore minorities. Why a bank that serves many Microsoft employees can make it's site work perfectly with mozilla, while Visa CAL can't?

got that Nobel Prize in economics for.
But the problem does not lie with the bosses- the bosses don't know better. It is the job of the developers to give the bosses good information that will enable them make the decisions . but we don't even get that far.
I am the default QA contact for Mozilla's Middle east tech evangelism component. I have looked at many sites that do not work with mozilla. Many many of them just have badly broken HTML/JavaScript/Whatever, that IE guesses and displays, while mozilla displays what was written.
As others have pointed out- even when the HTML itself is just "MSHtml" - they are plain ignorant, and the tools they use do not make it better (try to tell MS Visual Interdev to use xhtml compatible lower case tags, or to close tags like <li>, or to quote attributes properly or... that list goes on . *shutter*).
We need to find a way to _educate_. I wonder if WaSP can help?
