That is not 100% true. Maybe it is hardly true? Another Linux site appeared about 3 months ago - yours. Did anyone in linux-il other then you did something about it? Actually one can argue if some of your motivation was dissatisfaction from the linux-il site. Another argument is whether another Linux site is, in general, a good thing for Linux in Israel. In any case one can argue whether the fact that linux-il is less active then what you want it to be either promote Linux more or does not interfere with the natural growing interest in Linux. However please note that I don't express my opinion, just expressing my thoughts. Does OO and Mozila directly related to linux-il? What about the linux forums on Walla, Tapuz and the other portals? > i don't remember i better timing then this for doing something about advancing > linux. the government is actually showing intrest publicly. when did this > happen before ?!? > The government is also influenced from what happen in other countries. Giant international corporations like IBM and Comapq also influence it. And don't forget that we are taking about computers, one of the front lines of the information era and the global village. Don't take me wrong: of course we should do things and what we do has some influence. Yet Linux belongs to the world. > its about time that something similar to this will be done. i am all for it, > and i think that we should it soon. > > tal. > > -- Shaul Karl, [EMAIL PROTECTED] e t ================================================================To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
