IANAL, but normally laws include principles like scope and time
duration. This applies to patents and copyrights, too, and abuse 
of rights granted as patents, copyrights, licenses, etc can lead to
annulment of such rights. I saw this discussed on the 'net in
connection with the EULA in question.

I posted originally because I thought that this - new - development
was relevant to people who work in a mixed M$/OS environment, and thus
was on-topic. As could have been foreseen, the thread has wandered into
the off-topic territory, and I suggest to kill the thread on linux-il.
There are enough other forums on the 'net where it is discussed, for
the interested parties.
