I doubt we have enough stuff to make a whole "Page layout" chapter.
I disagree...There's *more* than enough for a Page Layout chapter: even if some (much?) of the material is referenced elsewhere/earlier, it would be beneficial to have a single coherent section in which all of the features are collated.
