[how to insert a bar in the middle of a piece with many parts] I use Frescobaldi for this type of work. Just click on the image of the score in the part where you wish to insert a bar [you are placed in the editor in the correct file at the position you clicked] and insert the new bar. Repeat for the next part and so on until you’re done.
