Hi Jean Abou Samra, Yes! I have now followed the instructions for running LilyPond with Frescobaldi. But I do not like it. Indeed, I will not use it. The coding (on the left) is far too small for my eyes. (I was in the habit of using font-size 18 when typing in the code.) And I have not found a way to enlarge it. (The music I can enlarge, but is in any case readable.) In August 2022, trying to implement Lilypond 2.20.0 build 20..311175017-darwin-64, I did load MacPorts-2.7.2-12-Monterey.pkg . But I do not remember if I used it, nor if it worked. I now have Ventura, and the MacPorts seems not to work. Writing in terminal "sudo port install lilypond Copy" produced the error "sudo: port: command not found". (I do not know anything about running in Terminal, but occasionally do it and it occasionally works. ) So, I shall try to operate 2.24.2 without Frescobaldi. But that may not be possible, or easy. Then I shall try to find an earlier (simpler) version of Lilypond that still works on my 64-bit machine; perhaps 2.22.z. or back to 2.20.0. If all else fails I can go back to my old 2009 MacBook 5,2 with OS X 10.5.8 and run LilyPond 2.18.2. It does everything I want, and is legible using 18pt font size. But if you have a suggestion, I am willing to try it. Yours, Ian --- Ian West 9 Thenford Road, Middleton Cheney, BANBURY, OX17 2NB, Tel: 01295 713 889; (Mobile: 07474 572 588) ==================
