So you *are* affected by the issue of external font files getting used. The "6" is coming from ~/.local/share/fonts. Do you know what might have put Emmentaler there? OTOH, it doesn't happen for accidentals, so it doesn't immediately look like this is the root cause. Still, what happens if you remove ~/.local/share/fonts/emmentaler-*.otf (or just move to a backup, of course)?
