Me too. The main issue is how to implement the upgrade path for "old" scores... Graham said a while ago that he has some ideas, but he hasn't shared them yet ;-) My idea is to: - -) rename cresc etc. to deprecatedcresc etc. - -) write a conversion rule \cresc->\deprecatedcresc - -) implement the postfix crescendi with the names cresc, dim, decresc I don't see any other way to change the \cresc from prefix to postfix style in existing lilypond code, since you can't rely on a single note following immediately after the \cresc...
