OK, here's (yet) one more (last?) version of my patch. Let's recap: - supports both showLastLength and showFirstLength (even at the same time: in this case a double barline is drawn as a separator between the beginning and the end) - when only showFirstLength is set, it overrides 'length to speed up processing, *except* if the music is already shorter than the given showFirstLength expression (in which case it just doesn't do anything) - comes with doc strings, comments and updated regtest. I know, it should have been perfect from the first time. But learning is what makes it fun :) Cheers, Valentin
