That dialog gets launched when there are some external links present in Edit - Links... dialog. A link can be one of various types, and what types of links are supported differ between the apps. It could be a DDE link, OLE link, Area link (Calc only), external references (Calc only) etc. I hope you get the picture. Given this, I don't know what the better wording would be.
