Hi Viola, What I told about the LFS_TGT variable is important. I've seen that you have changed it in your 'printenv' output, but have you recompiled binutils with this new setting? If not, you are in a mixed native-croscompile setting, which cannot be expected to work... For the host distro I use, it is debian 7.0. I've also tried recent Arch, various Ubuntu's, Fedora's, and Suse's, all of them allowed to build LFS.
