Each package will be validate if LFS is running with > systemd or if LFS is running with systemV ? > FWIW, I've been building systems using eudev since it was first announced (my notes are in the list archive - people later found out that my method didn't build the /dev/disk-by-id [ I think ] part - on a desktop I rebuild eudev for gudev, and that second build fixes the problem after that [ but too late if you need it at boot time ].
