Drawbacks: * Triggers a keyboard/mouse emulation bug in QEMU and KVM * Has no config file, attempts to guess append the "root=/dev/hdXY" parameter automatically. * Thus, is incompatible with libata until this guessing is disabled (one can do it from the command line of the installer). * This manual override works only on a global basis, thus, one cannot explain that one kernel (from a host distro) should be used with one root partition, while the other kernel has another root. The last item makes this boot loader unsuitable for LFS, since LFS relies on the ability to dual-boot LFS and the host until one installs a DHCP client and a web browser. -- Alexander E.
