DESTDIR would then have to be cleaned before/after each package. Then
we would have a book where if a reader doesn't want to use it, he must
not execute some of the commmand(s) on the pages. It could get ugly.
However, with some thought and a decent plan, it might be workable
in LFS.

I can't see it happening in BLFS for the simple reason that it would
be a monumental task (automating the proper inserts could perhaps be
done, but we wouldn't do that until *every* package has been tested,
which again would be monumental).
