As far it concerns the (a),the current udev documentation written by Mr Daniel Drake, (which btw is a very fine guy,I had the pleasure to cooperate with him in gentoo bugzilla once), doesn't seem to have interest to update it,so in its most part (udev documentation) is useless and incompatible with the current udev releases. So I am pretty sure,that many in the linux-kernel mailing list /Open source community will be happy for that kind of effort. A documentation project,organized and made/executed with the LFS way,which btw is our real treasure and our strong point.
