Not much of an artist are ya? ;) You don't need to look at it so
literally - and there isn't a need to lay out the entire concept for
intelligent viewers to make a connection, ie, that LFS is putting
together Linux like you would a puzzle. When you start attempting to
incorporate every single aspect of real life into a logo, you end up
losing the artistry and visual mental connection of the thing.

As far as the need for it to be capitilized... In textual arenas, I
would agree. In a logo, I don't see that it is necessary. Look around,
there are many that 'break' that rule. In any case, if enough people are
bothered by that point we can look at alternatives.
