Hello again everyone.
Just got back form walking the dogs. ;-)

How about this idea??? A REVO stile 200! cutting form the face/front of the
machine instead of inside the rails?

Just something to think about.

Gota get ready for work now.
talk to you all latter.

  Good morning Everyone.
Bill, and Tim. what I am suggesting is to make our own machines. Using linear
rail/ Amazon there would not be a lot of craftsmanship needed.
A headstock and tailstock and carriage assembly, plus some small parts like
angle brackets would all that would be needed to make this machine.
And for the gears, bike chain and gears could be an easy way to get the pitches
we want, plus a leadscrew.
This is a very small and pretty basic machine, I dont think it would be all
that hard to design and make our own Legacy's. ;-p

Well at least it is something to Dream about???

Have a good day.

I would love to get one of these and play with it I think I would play with
sprockets and chains to do the gears I have had good success in the past with
them on the regular legacy. It sure would be fun to try if I could just find
one I guess I will just have to make one some day

Subject: The Legacy 200

HI everyone.
Was just looking and found this photo. (yes its marked REVO but it is the
Legacy 200) I have asked the question in the past.
But I think I will again.    HOW To make a better mousetrap.  this little
machine should not be all that hard to make,
using parts like linear slides.
But the gearing would be a problem.  I was just thinking, how about an
electronic gear box or sorts?  I dont know much about CNC, but would it be hard
to make a simple program for a small machine like this? servo motors are cheap,
gearing although old school is much harder to make today.  Could it be done at
a reasonable price?
What would be the best way to make this type of small machine????
