Not a bad suggestion, he put together a 'fit for purpose' team to get us out
of the 1st div and at least we won something under his guidance, there is no
point planning for the future if you are fucking up the here and now.
Incidently, he was the last english manager to win the league.

I don't think that it is wise (no pun intended) to bring back a former
player back as manager (certainly not Kelly), their 'cult status' as a
player can easily be overshadowed by mistakes made as a manager or indeed it
is easy to paper over the cracks of their managerial inadequacies due to
hero worship, very rarely has a player gone back to a club and made a
success of it.

Eddie Gray has been a fantastic servant to this club and he deserves better
than managing Leeds in their current predicament (harsh but fair I think)

I am quite happy for Wise to remain at Leeds, he came it at a time when we
wouldn't have got a manager had it been advertised down at the Job Centre.
He doesn't seem to be the sort of character that would give up without a
fight and would want to be successful, I am prepared to give him the benefit
of the doubt.

Right then, I've put my head on the block and couldn't give a toss what
anyone else thinks of my opinion, so there ;oP

Cheers

Chris
