We should work out a couple of posts to brighten their day!!!
We shall attack Bournemouth City Centre in a pincer movement. The 1st
Battalion Kippax Whites will camp in The New Forest in the lead up to the
attack to acclimatise. Meanwhile the Royal and Ancient Gipton Whites will
transport into Bournemouth under cover of darkness in a flotilla of boats
currently moored on Brownsea Island.
Our undercover agent, codename Gaffer, will send out the code phrase ("The
quick left winger floats over the lazy git") to our intelligence division
(Aka The left side) at a pre defined time, at which time we shall unleash
hell. Our airborne division (The Mavericks) will parachute into
Bournemouth under covering fire from our sleepers currently mascarading as
care workers at the Prominade Old Peoples Home. The secret underground
bunker at the home will relay enemy movements to HQ at another secret
location in Scotland. Here, under the guidance of Grúppenfúhrer Boocock,
we expect to mastermind the taking of Dean Court by force by about teatime
(Tea and Scones provided).
Our reserve division will lie low in The various drinking establishments
of Bournemouth until Dean Court is taken, then a state of curfew will be
placed on the whole city and any enemy fans transported offshore into
holding tanks.
Operation "For gods sake get over it, it was 17 years ago" has no start
date as yet, but this will be released in the Summer masquerading as
something called a 'fixture list'"
