It will be interesting to see who they let in ? I
still know folk that got life bans from Dorset. Maybe
they'll set up a passport control on the Dorset
borders.
For those that went to Bournemouth - what a weekend. I
went with no ticket on the Friday night , got into
bother and ended up buying a ticket off a Bournemouth
fan who was cowering away at the bottom of the car
park. It was only when he'd taken my money and
scarpered I realised that the ticket was for the boys
pen (under 16s). So there I am , black eye and face
like the elephant man from the night before, trying to
get into the boys pen. I amazingly got past the first
line of stewards but then the man on the gate asks me
how old I am. Turning away so he couldn't see my face
I replied in a high pitched voice "15" to which he
immediately replied "No Chance , you're from Leeds". I
was just about to try and convince him otherwise when
he says "Go on then but don't cause any trouble" which
to this day is the most amazing thing anyone has ever
said to me considering the circumstances - Leeds fans
were battling the riot police only 20 yards away. I
got in and I kid you not Mums and Dads were literally
moving their children to keep them away from me. By
the time it was kick off the boys pen was full of
pissed up Leeds fans and if you look at the goal -
Chappie runs over to us and we pile onto the pitch.
Probably the best moment of my leeds supporting life.
