Whoah there Stevey Boy (Can I call you Stevey Boy? Sweety) I never
mentioned anything about getting joy out of it for them ... What I DO get
though is a very nice, warm feeling inside about seeing the beautiful game
being played as it should be!!! Regardless of who plays it. From watching
a game at Under 11 level where the lads keep their shape and (Believe it
or not it's possible) PASS THE BALL TO EACH OTHER!!! To watching Guiseley
play some good fast footy, obviously I hope to see it from the home team
every time I go to ER ... but it's less than guaranteed these days to say
the least! Right through to enjoying watching a La Ligua game on Sky. I
love Leeds United (Like you sweety ... I can call you sweety can't I?
Gorgeous) But I also love football WHEN IT'S PLAYED WELL.
Which, as an asides gorgeous (I can call you ... nah I'll stop that bit
now, I'm worrying myself!) is why I refuse to watch the genuine shower of
shite that is our national team ... because what you saw on TV yesterday
(From Man U and Chelsea in the second half) is fast paced, high tempo,
pass and move football which the europeans cannot contend with when played
right (I give you 3 semi finalists out of 4 as evidence your honour ...
barring a shock at Anfield of course) with players such as: John Terry,
Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Michael Carrick, Rio Ferdinand, Alan Smith,
Wes Brown ... ALL of whom would play a slow, european based, slow tempo
game that is alien to them because our national coach (and especially his
predesessor) insists they play a game that they don't play week in week
out...

Hey ho!
