I was pleased for Smithy. He played extremely well and, expecting dog turds in the post for saying it, what a performance. Some fantastic pass and move - SIMPLE football, played at pace. Still, look on the bright side. He's been out with a horrific injury, spent ages on the fringe, gets his chance in a huge game in front of 76,000 and scores the goal that puts them in front .... AND HE STILL DIDN'T KISS THAT BADGE ... good lad!
