Whilst I can see the merits in what Dr Mike had to say earlier, and now I know about it, I too am happy for Smiffy that he has returned to playing again after a terrible injury.... I can't comment on the game, simply because I didn't watch it......
Why? 'Cos it was Manchester Fcuking United, and I can't stand the barstewards that's why! - I'm a Leeds fan and proud of it. I experience no joy whatsoever seeing another team doing well, least of all that shower of shit. Smiffy excluded, as I still have a soft spot for him. My only interest in football terms is hearing about Leeds winning or just maybe other teams win who are playing a team who may influence the outcome for Leeds. England games are OK and I do watch, but don't care all that much. Leeds is what matters, first last and forever. Mike, you may well be a bigger and better man than me for your humanity, and for that I applaud you; but I am quite content in my "No other team but Leeds United - EVER" Thank you very much. Best Wishes to all (well, all on this list anyway) Steve -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tim Leslie Sent: 11 April 2007 14:25 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LU] Heresy I was pleased for Smithy. He played extremely well and, expecting dog turds in the post for saying it, what a performance. Some fantastic pass and move - SIMPLE football, played at pace. Still, look on the bright side. He's been out with a horrific injury, spent ages on the fringe, gets his chance in a huge game in front of 76,000 and scores the goal that puts them in front .... AND HE STILL DIDN'T KISS THAT BADGE ... good lad! > Above all I am really pleased that Alan Smith came good.
