I'll try to answer this in good faith and I ask you to take the answer in good faith. It really depends upon what you call a better offer. There was an offer on the table which was better for the CLUB than the Bates offer (and the fans had a serious involvement in it) but the previous board at the last minute (literally) opted to take a different offer. Not everything takes place in the full spotlight of open publicity. You have of course NOT answered the question about the various times you say that the fans should have acted. There is also no logic in your statement that "surely it would have been accepted". The realities of these situations is that different people involved have their own agendas and preferences and they have their own reasons for making their decisions. It is very easy to make nebulous statements and leaps of faith or logic but that does not make them true or real. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
