Maybe so, but where is Bates' £20 million ? We need it NOW. Indeed we do, but we're not going to get it. Bates gets off (in my opinion) on the buzz of being a football club chairman and would love us to eventually be back in the Premiership so he could say to other chairmen "Look what I've done". However not being a fool he doesn't want to be soon parted from his money, he wants to run his little hobby (aka Leeds United) at minimal cost to himself. Thus any improvements to the team, buying the ground back etc. etc. will have to be funded by selling other players or on the back of the money provided by those other mugs who have kept Leeds United in business over the years until Mr. Ridsdale went mad. E.g. us!
