Here goes Phill on one of his anti kelly rants. Good God Phill you're worse than me with Gregan. Let's put things into perspective. Kelly has played over 500 games for Leeds and for the majority of them he has played well. I didn't hear you slagging him much last year when despite being surrounded by dross he turned in many man of the match performances and then guess what Phill - he was voted player of the year and then being the only Leeds player to get into the 'Championship team of the season'. Was this just look Phill ? or he is still crap ? And this year before he got injured he was by far the best player we have turning in some really strong performances. I don't know what he's done to you Phill but I think you should have another look at the situation. In terms of defending Fraser unfortunately can't lace his boots and going forward although Fraser supposedly has the ability on the ball I don't think he's half as effective with his runs as Kelly is. The loyalty thing is a red herring. Yes Kelly earns a lot of money but the fact is that he's stayed with Leeds so it doesn't really matter. There's no loyalty in footballany more. You say if he was any good a premiership team would have been in for him. NO. We all know he's lost a yard of pace and we all know he couldn't live week in week out in the premiership but neither could any of our players and Richardson just wouldn't cut it at the moment. In a team of journeyman, lone signings who can't really give a f'ck as they're leaving in the Summer and just plain old rubbish footballers Gary Kelly is someone who you can rely on and somebody who can deal with most things in this division. I just wish we had more players like him in our squad at the mo. I for one can't wait until he's back in the team and brings a bit of consistency back to the right back position.
