I've heard several rumours/conspiracy theories etc with regards the first
bit, i.e. We literally could not afford to go back up and effectively
threw the play off final under the understanding that the following season
all would be well. Lots of general smirking and "Yeah rights" later and I
heard it again from a reasonably reliable source. "Nahhhh, we wouldn't ...
would we?" was the more errm confused response. Then I heard it again
which prompted a sort of "How do you know that?" sort of slightly worried
response. Then there was Chris Moyles' closed reference to something he
alledged Blackwell told him the night before Cardiff which he said he just
could not beleive.
As for the last bit about players not caring and curses, who knows? But
all that first bit is now the 4th or 5th time I've heard something similar
and is now making me wonder!!!!! Lets face it, we picked the wrong team,
played the wrong tactics and effectively didn't show up for the final?!
