If they get us out of the sh1t I'll happily take 'rejects'. I beg to differ on the last point. Along with many I had a preference (Curbishly) Other than him I didn't fancy any of the other suggestions for various reasons. I wasn't keen on Wise, not due to his Chelsea connection, but due to the fact I didn't think he had REALLY proved himself yet as a manager. But, truth beknown, I'm warming to him A LOT. As far as I can see, so far, he hasn't really put a foot wrong IMHO. What we're seeing now is whether or not he IS the man. Some wheeler dealing (Nearly all look like they are signing to the end of the season. Surely this is a good thing and pretty good move, they have to prove themselves to get a longer deal - OK, you run the risk of them doing well and buggering off, but maybe thats a risk worth taking - if they're not upto it, you can get rid and make the moves to replace in the summer). The stadium talk appears to be a red herring, which I hope is the case. I'm not parlay to what goes on behind the scenes so I don't know if Kells is "being shit on" I do hope not, he's a decent man and a loyal servant. But other than rumours, heresay and opinion, I can see the roots of a slightly brighter future for us, PROVIDING these January buys manage to get us out of the hole we're currently in. Happy New Year to you all BTW. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
