A lot of good sense about DOL and that Roy Ellam deal - well wasn't it one of those deadline day jobs which looked a bit dodgy at the time and looking back looks even more like it was doing somebody a favour, or some sort of quid pro quo/pay off. No idea what though, but it doesn't stand up any other way.
