On the bright side, had we fluked promotion last year, would we be  getting battered out of sight week in week out now? Probably me thinks. Absolutely the point I've made all along. We would simply not have been able to compete this season in the premiership on financial terms.   We'd have been certain to be starting the 07-08 season in the championship (albeit with lots of money) if we'd been promoted last season - whereas we still have a fair chance of starting the 07-08 season in the prem - and having the resources to stay there.   BTW I'm not joining the shrill voices demanding Blackwell's head. Stability is still what's needed for the club. And the way ths Championship is panning out, there's no need to panic just yet.   Mark
