Trust you to pick an argument where none existed. I was merely pointing out that actually our performances haven't been that bad - certainly not bad enough to warrant a sacking. Results have been worse than expected but that is due to not having a big striker for most of the games.
The performances haven't been great at home either, but my point is that this is more down to the players than to any deficiency in our management or coaching. Like to pick a hole in that? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nick Allen Sent: 25 August 2006 14:02 To: [email protected] Subject: FW: [LU] bits 'n' bobs >Lets face it, had Cresswell not been crocked and Horsfield not been banned I think our goals for column would look a lot >>healthier. I like this game... And if Ridsdale hadn't ever been in charge...and if we still had Harry Kewell and Alan Smith up front...and if Batty had never aged ...and if Radebe was 24 again with good knees...and if Bowyer and Woodgate hadn't been wankers who couldn't hold their drink...and if Brian Clough hadn't had to score points on his first trip into the dressing room ...and that linesman hadn't given our match winning goal offside against ManU back whenever...and if those 2 Europeans refs hadn't been bent...and if Buddy Holly had never got that flight...
