He does enough covering for Crainey. No is the answer
but if he sees a problem he goes to cover as he did on
this occassion. If he hadn't have gone over the bloke
could have walked it into the area and probably
scored. Ok he didn't stop the cross but he's not
fecking superman. Butler on the other hand couldn't
decide who to mark so he didn't mark anyone and then
berated Derry for not tracking back which was fair. I
can't see how Killa was at fault here.

That wasn't me having a go at Kilgallon - I just described what happened leading up to the free header - read it again and you'll see I didn't offer any opinion about whether Kilgallon did the right thing or not. As you say it was Derry that should have tracked back. But let's be fair - if Killa couldn't stop the cross, and he would have to have been Superman to do so, then Butler can't be expected to mark 2 men either.
