Nick, Agree with everything you've written as always.
Why did we clash so much in the past ? We seem to be
on the same wavelength now ? Was it me ? Probably !

Couple of things from your report. The goal. Having
seen it again on the Championship program this morning
I'd actually say that Killa should be exonerated of
blame. I mean, we can take every goal we concede and
trace it back to a mis-control or disposession. Ok,
maybe not all the blame , it was a basic error but
look at Crainey and Butler. Neither had the pace to
cover the man in so the middle, so they both
gravitated towards the guy on the left. Neither got
close leaving Killa desperately trying to make up
ground on the goal scorer - he nearly did. He gave
Butler 20 yards start and still managed to get back
into the box 10 yards ahead of him. Incredible really.
Also, Sean had a go at Killa for not cutting off the
cross of from our right for the missed header. Two
points here. 1) Killa plays on the left hand side of
central defence. Is this his job to cover for Kelly ?
He does enough covering for Crainey. No is the answer
but if he sees a problem he goes to cover as he did on
this occassion. If he hadn't have gone over the bloke
could have walked it into the area and probably
scored. Ok he didn't stop the cross but he's not
fecking superman. Butler on the other hand couldn't
decide who to mark so he didn't mark anyone and then
berated Derry for not tracking back which was fair. I
can't see how Killa was at fault here.
2) What is Butler doing these days ? It made me sick
to the stomach to hear Sky Sports praising his every
touch at the Palace game. First name on the teamsheet
said Kamara. Rubbish the bloke is an emabarrassment.

Mcphail - as you know I love this bloke so much. I was
fascinated to watch him closely yesterday. Has he
improved ? Nah. It was unbelievable to watch him give
a square ball then stop dead in his tracks. Also,
tracking back is a no no for Liam. He just hasn't the
legs - as we've said before , he waddles. He's just a
weak player with a nice left foot although one or two
of his passes yesterday were a bit off the mark. We
didn't empose ourselves on them at all.
Anyone see Mcphail's mini Leeds salute as he went to
take a corner ? He got a decent enough reception from
a few people. I was even unimpressed by this. I
suppose I find it hard to take that someone who I know
I can beat over 100 metres can get paid £10,000 a week
as a professional footballer. Scandalous.
