I would have sacked him following the Cardiff fiasco. Actually I would have sacked him long before that having predicted at Christmas we would crawl into the players. (How many points did we get from the last 10 games !?). In my opinion he doesn't deserve another season. You have stated that whilst you don't think he's the greatest manager in the world he has done well and deserves at least another season. So let's pretend we are Ken Bates. My decision would have been to sack him and replace him before this season. You would keep it like it is. So, this season will be the proof of whether I was right and YOU WERE WRONG. Promotion is a must for your decision to be deemed correct. Anything else is failure as it will not represent progression. Now , what spin can you put on that one ?
