Walton set for Addicks switch

LEEDS UNITED youngster Simon Walton looks set for a move to the Premiership
after heading for talks with Charlton.
The London club were in discussions with the 18-year-old's representatives
today after agreeing a fee with United, and his departure is expected before
the end of the week.
Leeds should receive upwards of £500,000 for a player who emerged through
their youth academy to make his first-team debut in 2004, and his contract
would almost certainly include performance-related payment clauses.
