Rich, another load of absolute drivel mate.

I think you'll find the Emmotts are as 'die hard' as you are, and yet they
seem to have a realistic grasp of the situation.

A lot of people whinge and moan about the manager, and if you pay good money
to watch them, even if that's via an international Sky subscription, then
you are entitled to whinge and moan.

You on the other hand take it to a whole new level. You are even vitriolic
about Blackwell now, in the close season.

You ought to get out into the real world a bit more. Get a bit of
perspective on life.

I might have felt as angry about football as you do once upon a time,
however since then I have lived a bit of life, had some shit things happen
and all of a sudden you realise football isn't the be all and end all of
life.

I have always lived in London. I used to have a season ticket, and go home
and away. Believe it or not I stopped getting a season ticket when we were
in the premier league and I'll tell you why.

When I used to travel up to Leeds as a 12yr old, I used to get to the ground
and be in awe of the place. I used to be with the thousands on Leeds fans
and think we were as one. It was a tremendous buzz.. us, with the team, vs
the world. There was a genuine hunger and passion about the place. My
favourite season is still the 2nd div championship season - finally the
unwavering belief in my team looked like it was being justified.

In those days, at the games, I don't ever remember anyone barracking Leeds
players or the manager - any barracking was towards the ref/oppo fans/oppo
supporters. Occasionally there would be a howl of derision at a cock up, or
whatever, but that would all be forgotten the next time that player was on
the ball.

Then the self serving wankers started turning up at matches. People who go,
sit back and demand to be entertained. People who have a constant go at a
player or players. They sit back and moan all the time, yet were quite
happy to join in 'our' celebrations when we scored.

The first time I remember feeling like turning round and telling them to
shut the fuck up was in a game vs Sheff Wed where were were losing 2-0. It
was eventually 2-2. But that's when I realised that it wasn't just us lot
vs the world, but that I was sitting next to wankers who didn't feel the
same about my team.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter one iota how crap you think
Blackwell/Gregan/Walton/Butler/Crainey etc etc etc are, YOU DO NOT PICK THE
SIDE, YOU DO NOT EMPLOY THE PLAYERS OR MANAGER.

I have no problem with people venting their spleen on the list after a
particularly shit match, but during the match as far as Im concerned, all
our players should be cheered on to the hilt.

And a final point.. if you really think that a football manager publicly
criticising a player is SHOCKING, then might I suggest you watch a few news
broadcasts every now and again.

If are Mr Angry, then why not channel that aggression elsewhere instead of
at your own team/management where it might be a bit less harmful.
