You can't have gone to any of the matches I went to then Mark. My God, how
we loved Jasper - we never stopped telling him about it. I remember David
Harvey trying to talk to us with blood streaming down his face after he'd
been hit by one of our coins - half of us didn't even know who he was - the
stupid bugger/Leeds hero (delete as ..) still went ahead and re-signed for
us. Don't you remember those killing silences when Tommy Wright screwed up
again. We crucified Scott Sellars and John Styles didn't even get 5 minutes
grace on his league debut before being told to fuck off back to Manchester.
Ask John Lee about Aizlewood or De Mange.
The only match where we really were "solidaire" was QPR when not even an
early Hart own goal could spoil our determination to shit on Venables parade
(cnut!) - how we laughed at all those police horses manuring that plastic
pitch, especially when the players were slipping on it afterwards.....
Having said that, you're right about how good it all was. I bet its not like
that today..........

In those days, at the games, I don't ever remember anyone barracking Leeds
players or the manager - any barracking was towards the ref/oppo fans/oppo
supporters. Occasionally there would be a howl of derision at a cock up,
